Requirements
  • The candidate must be at least 18 years old.

  • The candidate must work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions where common allergens may be handled or present.
  • The candidate must work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain duties, including Drive-Ups and carryout.
  • The candidate must remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts.
  • The candidate must complete Food Safety Manager Certification and applicable Starbucks or Pizza Hut training requirements or certifications.
  • The candidate must follow federal, state, and local laws and applicable safety, security, and compliance processes.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver guest experience commitments and create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience.
  • Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations.
  • Observe performance, provide feedback, hold team members accountable, and recognize strong guest experience performance.
  • Review guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take improvement actions, align the team on execution, celebrate wins, and drive results.
  • Understand sales goals and plan and execute daily and weekly workloads to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement.
  • Lead an efficient, guest-focused Food & Beverage team in delivering Food & Beverage standards and completing the Food & Beverage Daily Standards walk.
  • Assess backroom and sales floor areas daily, prioritize business needs, identify team workload tasks, and review reporting for business trends and follow-up.
  • Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to those expectations.
  • Partner with store leadership through communication and collaboration to influence sales performance and workload deliverables.
  • Maintain a fresh, full, and food-safe area during operating hours through inventory management, area routines, and Food Safety policies and procedures.
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns.
  • Validate and follow up on team members’ progress against assigned workload tasks, production area routines, and best practices.
  • Lead execution of best practices and close skill gaps through development, coaching, training, and team interactions.
  • Lead team huddles to communicate focuses and trends using store reporting and headquarters communications.
  • Develop and maintain vendor partnerships, establish expectations, ensure delivery and merchandising standards, and keep areas reliably in stock.
  • Place store-initiated orders according to best practices where applicable.
  • Keep current on relevant trends and products to educate team members.
  • Support the hiring and onboarding process for new team members and participate in team hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Support guest services including backup cashier, order pickup, and Drive-Up while maintaining compliance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on applicable federal, state, and local adult beverage laws and protect the store’s liquor license where applicable.
  • Lead the team in upholding Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards where applicable and partner with the Starbucks district manager.
  • Maintain ethical conduct, safety, and compliance and hold team members accountable to these commitments.
  • Lead safety culture by modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, correcting hazards, supporting incident response, and reporting and investigating injuries accurately and promptly.
  • Model physical security processes and support merchandise protection strategies across the store.
  • Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and creating equitable experiences.
  • Follow safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
  • Occasionally assume store-level leader-on-duty responsibilities during assigned shifts.
  • Address store emergency and compliance requirements.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.

  • Previous retail and/or food experience is preferred but not required.
