- Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible, Puppet, and/or Chef is required.
- Experience using a code repository such as GitHub or GitLab is required.
- Deploy, configure, patch, and maintain the 10ZiG Manager server instance hosted inside an Amazon Web Services Virtual Private Cloud.
- Develop, deploy, and test operating system configurations for PeakOS, RepurpOS, and NOS on physical thin- and zero-client hardware.
- Administer automated security patches, manage Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security certificates, and oversee device enrollment.
- Build configurations that repurpose legacy desktop hardware into secure thin-client endpoints.
- Build and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop gold images, manage multi-session host pools, configure FSLogix profile containers, and implement auto-scaling rules.
- Package and deploy applications on Amazon Web Services WorkSpaces, integrate Active Directory and Amazon Web Services Directory Services, administer WorkSpaces pools, and configure WSP and PCoIP streaming protocols.
- Provision and optimize Horizon instant clones, manage virtualization storage layers, configure Horizon Connection Servers, and orchestrate hybrid extensions.
- Establish pilot groups, gather performance metrics such as latency and logon times, assess peripheral compatibility, and refine virtual desktop templates using structured user feedback.
- Serve as the direct technical point of contact for Information System Security Officers.
- Maintain compliance packages and continuous monitoring workflows.
- Apply Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides across virtual desktop operating system templates, Active Directory policies, 10ZiG firmware, and supporting cloud resources.
- Author, test, and gather technical evidence required to achieve and maintain Certificates to Operate and Authorities to Operate.
- Draft and update Concept of Operations documents covering system boundaries, scaling mechanics, failover parameters, and disaster recovery processes.
- Create, update, and publish standard operating procedures for tier-one and tier-two help desk personnel.
- Author architectural evaluation documents comparing the cost, performance, and capabilities of virtual desktop infrastructure platforms.
- Provide strategic input on cloud consumption optimization, hardware lifecycle planning, and Zero Trust security architectures.
- Experience administering at least one primary virtual desktop infrastructure platform: Azure Virtual Desktop, Amazon Web Services WorkSpaces, or Horizon.
- Experience configuring and operating 10ZiG Manager or an equivalent thin-client deployment console.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automating template deployment, cloud resource scheduling, and user profile management.
- Documented experience executing Security Technical Implementation Guide checklists and supporting Certificate to Operate or Authority to Operate documentation packages in highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Experience drafting standard operating procedures, technical design blueprints, and system whitepapers.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty certification.
- Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator certification.
- VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility or Omnissa Horizon credentials.
