Kargo automates 64,000 warehouse receipts in 6 months at Lineage's Alabama poultry facility

Kargo, an AI-powered vision system provider, has implemented automated receiving operations at Lineage's warehouse in Decatur, Alabama. The facility, which supports adjacent poultry plants, now uses Kargo's camera towers to automatically capture inbound inventory data and feed it into Lineage's warehouse management system. The system has automated more than 64,000 receipts over six months. The Decatur operation processes over 500 pallets daily, with automation reducing receiving time from minutes to seconds. This allows Lineage to reallocate labour to higher-value activities. The implementation is part of Lineage's broader initiative to deploy advanced automation and computer vision technologies in cold chain operations. Automated load scanning is scheduled to launch at the facility shortly.
