Requirements
- 5 years of industry experience in Infrastructure solving real-world reliability and scaling problems
- Experience with managing production workloads running in Kubernetes and in AWS
- Utilized modern monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, Splunk, etc.
- Ability to build automation with various scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc)
- Helped guide product teams to develop meaningful SLOs for their systems
- Excellent coach, mentor, and developer of engineers
- Translate business needs into clearly scoped projects
- Excited by new technologies and know how to evaluate and choose the right tools
Responsibilities
- Lead the SRE team to improve Incident Management and reliability practices
- Implement tooling like a service catalog
- Embed with teams to understand pain points and build scalable solutions
- Collaborate with Client Strategy, Engineering leadership, and Product Management
- Contribute as a highly technical hands-on infrastructure engineer
- Craft plans with the product management team to achieve business goals
- Serve as a technical domain expert in observability best practices
- Ensure high availability and performance of applications
Desired Qualifications
- Building productive relationships with vendors
- Experience with infrastructure tooling like Istio, Terraform, CloudFlare, and Helm
- Experience with Java / Spring Boot microservices
- Experience with React and TypeScript
- Familiarity with GraphQL, Storybook, Radix UI, Vite, esbuild, and Playwright
