Our office services over 1,800 plans and 17,500 participants for companies across the United States. Job Summary
The primary duty of the Junior Compliance Consultant is to perform the internal functions necessary to operate a retirement plan in compliance with IRS regulations. This position works closely with the Compliance Consultants, but also has the opportunity for some external communication. This position requires thorough attention to detail and a strong drive to provide our clients with tailored financial solutions. The role offers a firsthand view of the design of each plan and because of that this position is instrumental to accomplishing our mission of providing personalized retirement solutions for all. This position offers the opportunity for future internal advancement to client facing roles and your own group of assigned clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support Compliance Consultants and Coordinators by completing administrative functions for their assigned group of clients (150-200 Plans)
Compliance Testing and Review of Plan/Participant Limits
Contribution Reconciliation
Employer Contribution Calculations
Preparation & Filing of Annual IRS Required Forms
Prepare Formal Plan Documents & Amendments
Assist in answering incoming calls (back-up queue)
Review & Approve Participant Distribution & Loan Requests
Primary Skills & Requirements:
1-2 Years of Experience in Financial Services Preferred
ASPPA RPF Certification Preferred
Computer & Technical Literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
Meticulous Dedication to Accuracy
Strong Organizational Skills
Desire to Provide Extraordinary Customer Service
