Marsh & McLennan Shared Services LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the Chicago, IL office (A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.):
 

                                                Senior Specialist - IT Systems Engineering           

We will count on you to:

Work with infrastructure, architecture and software development teams to implement CI/CD automation on-prem and in Azure cloud. Implement and troubleshoot continuous build and deployment pipelines. Contribute to the drive towards DevOps methodology with development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automation and Application Programming Interface (API) integrations. Coordinate with Release, Infrastructure, Middleware, Developers, Quality and other support teams to create automation and win-win solutions. Provide support for CI/CD tools including new application onboarding tasks as well as supporting incident tickets. Work closely with Architecture and Development team to deploy Azure Services and applications based on Nodejs and python. Utilize Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Networking, Load balancers, DNS and Azure services.

What you need to have: 

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems or a related field, plus nine (9) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related position. Six (6) years of experience must include: Using Azure cloud Services including Azure Virtual Machines, Entra ID, AKS, Docker, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage Solutions to implement CI/CD automation. Using automation and IaC tools – Terraform, ARM Templates, Powershell, Python and Azure CLI. Utilizing Security best practices, Azure Networking, Load Balancers, DNS and hybrid cloud Architectures. Managing large-scale enterprise Azure environments, including High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Scalability strategies. Using tools including Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Anisble, Hashicorp, and Rancher to enhance collaboration, automate workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure the reliability and scalability of software development and infrastructure management processes. Migrating on-premise workloads to Azure, including workload assessment and planning. Leading and managing a team of cloud engineers and DevOps engineers. Utilizing knowledge of API and integration design principles.

10% domestic and international travel is required to various and unanticipated company and client sites.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $157,500 to $224,400 per year.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
