Requirements
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or a four-year high school diploma with four years of full-time experience in housing management
  • Experience in housing management at a development with at least 150 apartments
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in clerical, secretarial, receptionist, or accounting roles is not acceptable
Responsibilities
  • Conduct annual and biannual HQS or NSPIRE inspections at privately owned Housing Choice Voucher program participant properties
  • Conduct Rental, transfer, and special inspections at privately owned Housing Choice Voucher program participant properties
  • Conduct project-based inspections at Housing Choice Voucher program participant properties
  • Interact with program participants, landlords, and advocates
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support Inspection units
