Are you passionate about using design to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and intuitive user experiences? We’re Tecton, a rapidly growing startup revolutionizing how companies build intelligent applications with machine learning.

Our platform is the connective tissue between raw data and powerful AI models, and we’re looking for a Product Designer who can bring that same seamlessness to our user interfaces.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end experiences for data scientists and engineers working with AI/ML
Build prototypes and user-test them
Create user journeys and workflow diagrams
Craft custom iconography and basic illustrations
Detailed and thorough visual QA on their projects
Build out a robust design system

Qualifications

2-3 years product design experience
Bachelor’s degree in design or related field
Mastery of UI Design tools (Figma, Maze, etc.)
Understanding beyond the basics of design (Accessibility, i18N, Form Design, Mobile, Responsive, etc…)
Detailed spec/red-line documentation, including intent, states, and behaviors
Advanced in design basics (color theory, typography, graphic design)
Can execute user tests and incorporate learning into their work
Understands the basics of the technology their product is built with

Soft Skills

Regularly gives and takes critique from their peers.
Can communicate with engineers about implementation details
Seeks out data to shape their work proactively.
Balances multiple projects against given priorities
Participates in driving team consistency & process
