Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems & Technology, or a related technical degree program) or equivalent Software Engineering work experience
  • 2+ years overall development/technical support experience
  • 2+ years of experience to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues in complex Enterprise Level applications
  • Communicates effectively and works well with a team, using Agile processes
  • Working knowledge of: relational database concepts (T-SQL), object-relational mapping (LINQ, Dapper, Entity Framework), understanding of modern client-side web UIs (TypeScript, React), designing and consuming REST APIs, source code version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with: cloud platforms (Azure), front-end web design and implementation (HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Bootstrap), non-relational data storage technologies and techniques (NoSQL, BLOB)
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to be a great team player
  • Exceptional customer service
Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second level support for Quest platforms
  • Provide engineering support of our incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting and debugging, with responsibilities covering multiple product lines
  • Work on maintenance-driven coding projects, primarily in .net, C#, or shell scripts, web technologies, and Java/nodeJS based projects
  • Read and understand complex application code and make code fixes to resolve support issues
  • Customer notification, workflow co-ordination, and follow-up to maintain service level agreements
  • Work with engineering teams for handing-off or taking over active support issues
  • Create a team specific knowledge base and continuously improve skill set
