ABOUT THE ROLE
Super’s Senior Director, Product Marketing has the rare and exciting opportunity to drive product marketing for our 3 digital products in the travel, shopping, and money/fintech spaces. We’re looking for a candidate who has a passion for helping underserved consumers coupled with the vision and desire to coach a team that will define design targets and value propositions and then partner within the product and marketing teams to deliver end to end marketing strategies and results.
As part of this role, you will also oversee the research & insights function, helping teams across the whole organization better understand our customers and market trends to make data driven decisions.
Our team is growing and we are looking for someone who is eager to find new opportunities and who challenges themselves (and us!) to consistently deliver results.
Challenges you’ll solve
- What is the marketing strategy for each of our products including design target identification, value proposition development, customer journey mapping, competitive analysis and tactical strategy across the marketing funnel from awareness through to engagement
- What end to end campaigns should we design and implement across the funnel? Partner with our performance marketing, creative, and communications teams to bring these to life while owning the key results
- What market & customer insights do we need to make informed choices for the business across teams? For example, what is the market size and potential? How do customers feel about a certain product? What’s their buying behavior?
About You
- You have 10-12 years of Product Marketing/Marketing Strategy Experience at late stage VC-backed startups looking to IPO in the coming 1-2 years, or ones who have recently gone public
- You use research and data to develop objectives and key results and have created fulsome marketing plans for technology products – that have delivered results
- You have the hands-on experience in writing clear and compelling briefs and then work with agencies and in-house designers and copywriters to create a range of marketing assets
- You have a consistent track record in crafting compelling messaging & positioning for technology products
- You are a utility player – no stranger to providing thoughtful strategy insights, overseeing an agency and/or a team, as well as rolling your sleeves up and doing some of the pitching yourself
- You are a player coach – eager to develop those around you on your team, at your agency, and within the broader organization. You’ve overseen a team of at least 5-7 senior level marketers for several years
