Responsibilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of patient safety data for WW Clinic members
  • Monitor and respond to Patient Safety channels to address individual case pain points, adhering to SLAs
  • Serve as the point of contact and escalation for safety cases involving clinicians
  • Assist in resolving safety incidents or escalate to clinical leadership when necessary
  • Identify and analyze patient safety events, potential medication errors, and implement preventive strategies and corrective measures
  • Analyze incidents and near-misses, recommending and implementing preventive and corrective measures
  • Help develop and implement medication safety initiatives and best practices
  • Contribute to Patient Safety Monitoring Committee meetings and other relevant meetings
  • Consistently maintain an up-to-date understanding of all relevant policies to ensure compliance and effective decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional healthcare teams to promote a culture of safety and quality improvement
  • Collaborate with members of the Clinical Leadership team and other cross-functional teams as relevant (e.g. MXMs, RDs, product) to ensure that Clinician education aligns with the overall goals of patient care, practice goals and quality improvement at WW Clinic
  • Interface directly with Clinicians on a daily basis - provide training/information, help problem solve, and proactively develop solutions
  • Identify trends or gaps in patient safety workflows and clinical workflows based on Clinician feedback
  • Maintain a patient panel resulting in greater than or equal to 1250 points per month (~20 hours per week)
