  • Post-secondary degree in related field and 15+ years of broad and diversified experience within the Transportation industry in Western Canada.
  • Proven leader in client relationship management, strategic planning, strategic teaming and proposal strategy and negotiation.
  • Successful track record of pursuing and winning traditional Design/Bid/Build Transportation projects.
Responsibilities
  • Keep abreast of overall business trends, particularly the current business climate.
  • Leverage your key contacts within private organizations and Provincial / Federal agencies to proactively develop project opportunities and to better understand their economic spend.
  • Leverage your key contact within industry to allow for building partnerships and for best positioning of Parsons team.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets in the Western Canada Infrastructure region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including public and private sector projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Support proposal development including oversight, writing, and review as required to drive winning solutions.
  • Engage in the negotiation processes including building out teams and executing teaming agreements. Support development of competitive and compliant submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals and capabilities.
  • Represent Parsons at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
  • Build and implement effective sales/marketing long term business and marketing strategies to drive market growth in alignment with Parsons strategic and financial goals.
  • Manage complex win strategies and proposal efforts that entail both conventional/traditional contract and procurement methods.
  • Work closely and support the local operational staff to further develop and enhance a business development culture.
  • Report and coordinate with the Canadian Critical Infrastructure Regional Business Development Leader and other Business Development Directors to maximize Infrastructure’s overall growth goals.
