As a manager of our Customer Success team for Vendr, you’ll be responsible for managing a team of highly-capable and talented CSMs to support and grow the health of their customer accounts on a daily basis. You will be responsible for the overall health and retention of your team’s territory.
You will support your team as an escalation point to handle renewal and upsell conversations, by managing complex customer problems and scenarios, training and managing a growing team of CS professionals, and assisting in the creation and implementation of processes and efficiencies to help our organization scale.
This position is a hybrid role, where you will be expected to commute into our Boston office a few days a week.
You will:
- Lead and coach your team to meet consistent gross and net revenue retention goals, support best practices for forecast reporting, and proactively support a path to renewal execution
- Manage customer escalations within your book of business; proactively identify at-risk accounts and help facilitate resolution
- Track and identify trends or indicators within your book of business, provide visibility to leadership and recommendations based on findings
- Analyze metrics and performance for ongoing coaching and improvement
- Help plan and execute onboarding and training initiatives in collaboration with our Training & Enablement team
- Lead with a customer first mindset and have proven experience driving measurable improvement to the overall customer experience
You have:
- Three - five years directly leading a team of metrics and performance driven CSMs in a fast paced, high-growth SaaS environment
- Eight+ years of experience in a solution-oriented, customer facing role
- Demonstrated, consistent success tied to net revenue retention and customer account expansion goals.
- Experience in building successful senior-level business relationships and facilitating conversations at all levels, including the C-suite, specifically Finance and Procurement
- Relevant business experience in demonstrating a commercial mindset and an understanding of selling moments.
- A high degree of organization and proficiency in leveraging internal systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong storytelling abilities.
- A proficiency in technology.
- Able to travel for customer onsite visits & events as required
