- Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Project or Professional Services Accounting
- Experience in a multi-entity global environment, high-tech industry experience an asset
- Experience with ERP and project accounting systems, Netsuite, Kantata and Salesforce an asset
- Proven experience building strong, cross-functional relationships and partnering with stakeholders from across the business to meet objectives
- Excellent communication skills, including being able to clearly communicate financial information to colleagues and stakeholders, and work collaboratively with integrity
- Skilled in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Able to manage multiple and dynamic priorities and deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Financial management of time and material and fixed price Professional Services projects, which includes but is not limited to contract and change request management, project setup, master data maintenance, invoicing, and project closure
- Complete monthly project financial procedures including revenue recognition and support timely and accurate invoice creation
- Ensure consistent application of approvals and control procedures
- Monitor project budgets, change orders, project health and estimates in the PSA tool, Kantata
- Build strong relationships with our internal Professional Services business partners, including Delivery and Project Managers
- Identify risks to project status or completion and escalate to leadership as appropriate
- Support resolution of contract issues including providing support to the billing team as required
- Support service sales team in creation of statements of work and change requests
- Effectively work with colleagues across Finance and other key internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with special project assignments, ad-hoc analysis as required
