Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Hold a current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in South Dakota.
  • Hold Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required depending on assignment.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation, fingerprinting, and a rigorous credentialing process to work on a military installation.
  • Meet all applicable federal contract and clinical competency requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care within a team-based primary care model.
  • Perform assessments, administer medications, and provide treatments.
  • Educate patients on health, wellness, and care plans.
  • Coordinate care, referrals, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and military treatment facility policies.
  • Respond to urgent and emergent patient needs.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks as appropriate.
Desired Qualifications
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in outpatient, ambulatory, or primary care settings.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have experience using electronic health records.
  • Military healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
