Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting Systems
Prior experience implementing ERP systems
Experience administering and modifying ERP software in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
Experience with NetSuite (a plus)
Strong Microsoft SQL skills - writing queries and stored procedures
Strong Microsoft Excel skills - pivot tables and macros
An excellent understanding of standard business practices related to accounting
A strong work ethic to solve problems, accomplish objectives, and meet deadlines
Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards

Responsibilities

Assist in the evaluation of our current systems and the assessment of new potential software decisions
Provide expertise, technical support, administration, and maintenance of all internal accounting systems - currently NetSuite, Tipalti, Odoo, Carta, and Expensify
Participate/lead new business discussion from a tech/process perspective representing Finance
Architect Finance tech solution with relation to upstream system changes
Develop and maintain an accounting systems road map highlighting the systems enhancements being pursued
Act as a liaison with third party vendors to troubleshoot systems
Perform and facilitate testing of end to end solution (inclusive of non-financial systems)
Act as liaison with business for troubleshooting: investigation, analysis, and solves software/tech problems
Map business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications
Act as the internal liaison with tech developers and external vendors
Support all aspects of internal and external audit as related to accounting systems
Project manage cross-functional system projects
Oversee and support relevant budget management

About You and The Role

Our Sr. Manager of Financial Systems will design, develop, and oversee the operation and maintenance of our Finance organization’s various systems. In this role, the Sr. Manager Finance Systems will support data integrity, develop automated solutions, and work in collaboration with other departments to help develop solutions to streamline and automate processes in an administrative capacity. Zipline currently uses NetSuite as its Accounting software and is continually evaluating its technology solutions to scale and grow the business.

What Else You Need to Know

The starting cash range for this role is $155,000 - $185,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
