- Perform field inspections of generators and conduct diagnostic tests to assess their condition
- Identify and repair issues in electrical and mechanical systems, including AC and DC components
- Conduct load bank testing and calculate KW capacity to verify performance
- Troubleshoot and repair control systems, including engine controllers, automatic voltage regulators (AVR), battery chargers, block heaters, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and switchgear
- Service and repair diesel and gaseous engines, ensuring optimal performance
- Install and modify power generation equipment to meet specific application requirements
- Test and repair charging systems, including battery load testing
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment while following industry and company safety standards
