Responsibilities
  • The Standardized Patient Educator is responsible for the training and supervision of standardized patients participating in the education programs for medical students, ensuring case fidelity and supporting faculty with case development.
  • Standardized patient training related to all phases of medical education
  • Scheduling, coordination, and logistics for routine sessions and remediation
  • Support for event managers
  • S/he will perform a full range of professional duties assisting colleagues with designing and implementing simulation curriculum (courses, content, and materials)
  • Work Interactions: Standardized Patient/Simulation Educator (SP/SE) will partner with a team of educators to provide a high quality clinical educational experience for learners in the Integrated Learning Center (ILC) at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
