- Report changes in residents' conditions to the supervisor and attending physician.
- Sign off that medications and treatments were administered as required by policy.
- Maintain residents' medical records through required documentation.
- Educate residents and families about care.
- Assist in planning, supervising, and instructing certified nursing assistants, and assign daily work to support positive resident outcomes.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Ensure proper infection-control techniques are followed.
