Who Are We Looking For?
We’re looking for a high-energy and passionate manager to join our fast-growing organization. The key focus of this role is to be responsible for leading and growing a world class business development team. You will directly manage and coach a team of BDRs, who prospect both inbound and outbound opportunities across multiple markets to build the pipeline to support our growth.
In this Boston, MA based role, you will report to the Sr. Director of Global Business Development and play a key role as you will lead this motivated team to achieve individual and team quotas. The role will require 3 days in the Boston office and 2 days WFH.
What Will You Do?
- Hire, Train, and Lead a team of Business Development Representatives that are responsible for developing and qualifying revenue opportunities within their assigned territory
- Hold regular 1:1s with direct reports
- Own BDR performance metrics and provide regular feedback to marketing & sales leadership
- Support sales leadership and BDRs to build an effective outbound process, including prospect list building, outbound campaigns, sales training and developing a BDR career path at Lookout
- Regularly report on Team/Individual Results - Lead Quantity, Quality, & Revenue
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of Process, Efficiency, Productivity
- Develop BDRs into sales-ready candidates for future Account Executive positions
- Help create a fun, high energy environment where people love coming to work.
What’s Needed?
- 2+ years of experience in sales management or business development management
- A passion for training and development
- BA or BS Degree or equivalent
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and outlined metrics.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is available below. We offer base + bonus + equity + benefits.
