Requirements
  • Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or related field
  • two (2) years of experience as a Research Analyst, Quantitative Analysis Program Analyst, Sales & Trading Program Analyst or related position for a global financial services firm
  • Two (2) years of experience must include: Identifying trading opportunities in the fixed income markets; Applying knowledge of derivatives products to risk manage and structure trades; Analyzing economic trends to anticipate future interest rate paths; Analyzing large datasets of market and economic data; and Utilizing programming language Python to automate datasets and pricing models.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for monitoring and analyzing US interest rates markets with a focus on the US inflation markets for a global financial firm.
  • Utilize knowledge of the US economy and financial quantitative skills to analyze market movements, forecast economic trends and formulate opinions and advisory on interest rates and inflation for Citi’s trading clients.
  • Identify trading opportunities in these markets and advise clients on trading risks.
  • Publish market views, trade ideas and analysis in Citi’s rates research publications to help clients make well-informed trading decisions based on the economy, rates markets and changes in inflation.
