What does a work environment look like at Vouch?

This role is based in our Chicago  office. We require the team members to be in the office at least two days per week (Monday and Thursday) to foster close collaboration and team building.

Role Responsibilities: 

Vouch is seeking a talented and experienced Content Marketing Manager to lead the creation of high-quality, engaging content tailored for early-stage and growth-stage tech companies. You will own the planning and execution of compelling content that educates early-stage and growth-stage tech companies on the risks facing their business. From crafting thought leadership pieces and blog posts to driving email campaigns, you’ll create content that positions Vouch as a trusted partner in the startup ecosystem. You’ll optimize for SEO, analyze performance metrics to refine your approach, and collaborate with designers and subject matter experts to deliver engaging, high-impact content. Your work will embody Vouch’s confident, straightforward voice, elevating our brand and driving awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

Job Duties: 

• Content Creation: Develop and execute a strategic content plan, focusing on thought leadership, blog content, and email campaigns tailored to the unique needs of early- and growth-stage tech companies.

• SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engines, ensuring it drives organic traffic and aligns with SEO best practices.

• Cross-Channel Distribution: Work with marketing teams to distribute content across multiple channels, driving awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze content performance, iterating based on insights to ensure continuous improvement.

• Brand Alignment: Ensure content aligns with the Vouch voice (straightforward, confident, and galvanizing) across all content, reinforcing our position as a leader in the business insurance space.

• Collaboration: Partner with team members including subject matter experts, designers, and other marketing team members to create compelling and engaging content.

About You:

• 3+ years of B2B content marketing experience

• Content Marketing Proficiency: Proven track record of creating impactful written content that engages and educates target audiences.

• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, content management systems (CMS), and SEO tools; experience with email marketing platforms is a plus.

• Audience Understanding: Ability to craft content that resonates with both early-stage founders and scale-stage operators, addressing their distinct challenges and needs.

• Strategic Thinker: Strong analytical skills to measure content performance and adjust strategies to meet business goals.

• Excellent Communicator: Clear, concise, and persuasive writing style that aligns with Vouch’s confident and galvanizing voice.

• 30-minute phone call with our recruiting team

• 30 minute Zoom interview with the hiring manager

• Take home writing exercise & writing samples

• Meet the team! 3-4 1:1 Zoom meetings with team members you’d work closely with in the role

Salary Range:

The pay range for this role is: $100,000  to $115,000  per year. 

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are part of our total compensation package, which also includes benefits and other perks. We also include stock options in all compensation packages and believe all Vouch employees should have the opportunity to become owners in the company. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, location, and business need. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
