Sr. IT Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

One of the fastest growing and successfully established companies in Utah is looking for an Sr. IT Project Manager to join its ranks.  

• Provide information, status, and strategic plans on various projects.
• Collaborate with all departments in accomplishing and managing tasks.
• Facilitate prioritization and communication of functional and technical requirements of projects.
• Collect information from the various teams and follow up.
• Write use cases and user stories for desired improvements and new feature enhancements.
• Identify and resolve conflicts and roadblocks within the project.
• Identify and manage project dependencies. 
• Develop product knowledge of DigiCert’s IT systems and applications to run the business.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity and follow up.
• Estimate task lengths, activities, and meet schedules.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Nice to have understanding of SSL, PKI, and other security related technology.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of professional experience working in the software industry. 
• 5+ years of previous project management experience.
• 3+ years practical experience with Salesforce / CPQ / CLM
• PMP - Certified 
• Ability to complete and tie up all loose ends on projects. 
• Effectively communicate, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to talk to people no matter the title (CxO, VP, Director, etc…).
• Accomplish projects and see projects through completion. 
• Power user in MS Word, Excel, Jira, and various project management applications.
• Ability to handle shifting priorities while still accomplishing tasks.
• Proven skills in eliciting cooperation from various departments, individuals, and teams.
• Knowledgeable in IT processes, change management, and controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, etc, or equivalent years of experience and formal training.
• High performance individual who is persistent and self-motivated to accomplish tasks.
