Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Management or STEM field, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • 8+ years verifiable experience leading highly technical NDE teams across all stages of manufacturing, from R&D to production.
  • 4+ years verifiable experience contributing to the development, qualification & deployment of automated NDE processes and solutions in an aerospace NDE setting, or equivalent highly regulated industry.
  • Track record of delivering complex and innovative projects on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain top-tier NDE talent.
  • M.S. and/or PHD in relevant field.
  • Current or previous NDT certification in one or more methods.
  • Experience with inspection of additively manufactured materials, FSW’s, and OTW’s.
  • Experience Auditing 3rd Party NDE service providers and equipment vendors.
  • Extensive and verifiable experience contributing to system design and qualification efforts for aerospace customers (i.e. Boeing, Nasa, DoD, Space Force, etc.).
Responsibilities
  • Accountable for leading and managing a diversely skilled production NDE organization across 2 shifts to build Terran-R.
  • Coordinate with process stakeholders and develop infrastructure to unify manufacturing and NDE processes to facilitate maximum efficiency in operations across all supported workflows.
  • Work closely with NDE Specialists and NDE Engineers to reduce human factors as feasible through automation in data collection (e.g. scanning, instrument setup, etc.), data routing, and decision making.
  • Develop and implement internal audit program to extract leading indicators and proactively and continuously improve existing operations.
  • Work closely with NDE Specialists to recruit, train and develop an elite team of cross-functional NDE professionals (quality over quantity).
  • Engage in proactive mentorship and provide guidance for less experienced leaders.
