  • Initiative, flexibility, and a desire to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to accomplish goals
  • Experience in career counseling, social services, human resources, or related fields is highly desired
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated with the ability to demonstrate initiative
  • Intermediate computer knowledge, including MS Office
  • Current Washington State driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of individualized career development plans and goals with program participants
  • Establish and maintain positive ongoing relationships with community colleges and community-based organizations for referrals
  • Support the Career Pathways Coordinator in building strong partnerships with relevant employers
  • Collaborate closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to recruit community mentors in key career fields
  • Assist participants in preparing for professional careers by conducting regular check-ins, providing navigation services, and connecting them to relevant training and education programs
  • Help program participants access financial support and resources to overcome barriers in their career pathways
  • Support the facilitation of training workshops on various topics
  • Ensure enrollment/participation goals are met through community outreach and promotion efforts
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned
