Requirements
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • 1 years of ISD experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Bachelors Degree in Instructional Design preferred
  • Experience in the full life cycle of the instructional systems design (ISD) process with experience in developing blended learning solutions that are Section 508-compliant and SCORM-conformant
  • Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Section 508 requirements as applied to course design and development
  • Experience and working knowledge of at least one rapid development tool (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Presenter, Adobe Captivate)
  • Experience with design production tools (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Familiarity with concepts related to Communities of Practice and the application of social networking and online collaboration tools to learning
  • Experience serving Federal clients
  • Experience working in consulting firm environments
Responsibilities
  • Work as part of an instructional design team under the supervision of a Senior Learning Solutions Designer and/or Project Manager.
  • Design, develop, and document instructor-led, paper-based, and responsive technology-delivered curricula and performance support solutions.
  • Participate in the development and review of products for adherence to style and storyboard guidelines, writing standards, course/task flow, and designing for standards such as SCORM conformance and Section 508 compliance.
