Requirements
  • Healthcare experience is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to proficiently use computer and standard office equipment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of payer eligibility and benefits; healthcare research and analysis skills sufficient to support payer research, healthcare policy library, and state management
  • Qualifications: only W2
Responsibilities
  • Take inbound calls
  • Provide customer service and case management; answer basic clinical and program inquiries; coordinate access to therapies through patients' healthcare providers
  • Schedule and conduct appropriate follow-up based on each patient's situation
  • Facilitate access to support services including reimbursement counseling, nursing hotline, and support
  • Process incoming enrollment forms for the program
  • Follow up via phone, mail, and/or fax for missing enrollment information
  • Support payer research, healthcare policy library, and state management
  • Identify other sources of health care coverage for patients through simple queries and use of PayerPlus database
  • Perform related duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Call center experience
  • Healthcare experience combined with call center experience preferred
  • Inbound call handling experience is a plus
