Job Description:

Lead review and coordination of internal and external audits or examinations in support of the 1st line and vendor management activities across the Bank (i.e., compliance, second line, Internal Audit and regulatory exams)

Provide oversight and management of concurrent and complex audits and ensure completion for multiple business groups and exam topics relating to third party risk management in support of the first line. Ideally, you are experienced in the area of audit and examination activities with a strong understanding of third party risk management standards and processes. You’re coming to the table fully knowledgeable about the financial industry landscape and current market trends, and, here at TD, you’d be putting that insight into action.

• Act as a specialized resource on internal/external audits and exams to provide subject matter expertise for planning, risk assessment and execution of audits and related processes with a high degree of complexity

• Coordinate and manage audit and exam activities that require alignment across multiple areas and execute timely and quality response to audit or exam information requests

• Provide ongoing communication and reporting with the first line and vendor management teams and leadership with respect to status, potential issues and recommendations

• Guide and challenge responses and artefacts provided prior to submission to internal audit or TD exam management team with timely review and approval from appropriate stakeholders (e.g.1st line, 2nd line, vendor Management, Technology, regulatory exam teams)

• Frame appropriate responses and submissions to internal audits and external exams

• Develop and manage remediation and action plan in response to findings arising from internal audits and regulatory reviews as per the standards

• Keep current on emerging trends and evolving regulatory requirements to find opportunities, and recommend improvement areas to senior management to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the team
