We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our Torts team in managing critical case documentation, statutory compliance, and risk assessment activities. Successful candidates will focus on preparing and tracking legal notice and identifying potential liabilities that may influence settlement outcomes. Ideal candidates will have strong legal acumen, organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff across the firm.

This is a full-time position in office Monday- Friday.

Responsibilities:

Ensure essential documentation like site inspections, police reports, insurance records, and other critical materials are secured to support case development.
Work with litigation paralegals to assist with drafting, filing, tracking, and delivering notices of claims.
Verify dates of accidents, manage accident confirmations, and ensure accurate documentation for all files.
Oversee CUT and risk matters: confirming and tracking CUT and related risk management issues.
Be the point of all communication bridging clients, case managers and the firm to ensure responsiveness, clarity, and consistency.
Collect, organize, and review all supporting materials to confirm liability and risk factors, always ensuring integrity.
Partner with legal and operations teams to maintain a streamlined process, proactively resolve issues and ensure timely task completion.

Qualifications:

Experience in claims processing, legal document preparation, and or compliance.
Experience as a personal injury paralegal or case manager, required. Paralegal certification, preferred.
Strong understanding of legal statutes and deadlines in NY, NJ, and PA.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to track legal documentation efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The anticipated base pay listed is a range, actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of our total compensation and competitive benefits package, which can include discretionary bonus, 401(k), paid time off, and health benefits.

Compensation Range:

$75,000—$85,000 USD

Compensation: The base salary or hourly range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to; prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors. Additionally, salary wages are only part of the total compensation package.
