Castle Trust Bank provides savings accounts backed by FSCS protection and uses the money from savings to fund lending solutions. It avoids costly overhead like branches and expensive tech, focusing on transparency and fair treatment of customers. It differentiates itself by offering flexible, asset-aware lending for borrowers with unconventional income (notably buy-to-let investors) and by using the Omni Capital Retail Finance arm to provide point-of-sale finance with retailers through a paperless credit approval system (OmniPort) and a dedicated customer portal. The goal is to offer lending and savings options tailored to customers’ financial situations, underpinned by openness and trust, while growing through responsible lending and flexible financing solutions.
