Requirements
- A high school diploma or General Educational Development credential is required.
- Automotive technician experience is required.
- Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, multipoint inspections, wiper-blade replacement, and other basic maintenance tasks listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate with the service team and assigned service advisor about repair-order status and changes.
- Examine vehicles to determine whether additional safety or service work is required.
- Complete work according to factory and dealership procedures.
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive Service Excellence certification is preferred.
