Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing abilities, with preferred experience following a style guide.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and in-person teammates.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Acrobat; familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Research and write articles, short-form pieces and other content types in an easy-to-understand, approachable way while following our company style guide.
  • Conduct research on various topics, particularly within the healthcare and patient education sectors, to support content development.
  • Confirm running content is still accurate and up to date by verifying with trusted sources.
  • Provide general support to the editorial team, including reviewing other writers’ content pieces, evaluating content from our partnership organizations and preparing content for publication.
  • Review content for grammatical errors and style consistency.
  • Work with designers to ensure content is visually appealing and helps communicate the content effectively.
  • Participate in professional development meetings to learn basic skills for working in a business environment.
