- A current Texas Registered Nurse license is required.
- Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required.
- A valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance are required.
- Provide quality skilled one-on-one nursing care to pediatric clients in a home setting during 8–12-hour shifts.
- Care for clients with serious illnesses, medical complexities, disabilities, or those recovering from injuries or extensive surgery.
- Assess client conditions during each visit, including monitoring vital signs and seizure activity and providing care for gastrostomy tubes, tracheostomies, continuous positive airway pressure or bilevel positive airway pressure, and ventilators.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and the individualized plan of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Pediatric home health experience is preferred but not required.
