Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of welding experience or welding technical school training is required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions is required.
  • Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment is required.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, routers, and work instructions to produce quality welded assemblies.
  • Perform metal inert gas welding, fixturing, tack welding, finishing, and basic quality inspections.
  • Operate welding, grinding, and fabrication equipment while maintaining required production and quality standards.
  • Cross-train and operate additional manufacturing equipment as assigned.
  • Follow established quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Use enterprise resource planning systems to access production information and record required data.
  • Maintain a safe work environment through proper housekeeping, personal protective equipment usage, and adherence to company policies.
