Sibros unveils SDV App Marketplace to speed up connected vehicle innovation

Sibros unveils SDV App Marketplace to speed up connected vehicle innovation. Press Release, 9 January 2026 At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, connected vehicle platform leader Sibros announced the launch of its SDV App Marketplace, a ready-to-use digital storefront of applications designed to help automakers, fleet operators and mobility providers transform vehicle data into real-world features and services much faster. Built on Sibros' Deep Connected Platform, this marketplace brings together more than 50 turnkey applications that span critical areas like battery management, diagnostics, compliance, fleet operations, safety and consumer experiences all without the need for costly custom coding or long integration cycles. The new marketplace is tailored specifically for software-defined vehicles (SDVs), which rely on software and data to deliver smarter, safer and more efficient mobility. Instead of having to build each connected service from scratch, vehicle makers and fleet managers can now quickly deploy tools that help monitor battery health and charging performance, automate regulatory reporting, track and optimize fleet performance, strengthen vehicle cybersecurity, or even offer AI-driven digital experiences such as personalized apps, digital keys and driver coaching. By centralizing these capabilities in one place, Sibros aims to cut development time and investment, enabling its customers to extract more value from vehicle data sooner. Because the applications are tightly integrated with Sibros' connected vehicle architecture - featuring capabilities like over-the-air (OTA) updates, high-frequency vehicle data logging, edge computing, remote commands and built-in security OEMs and operators can implement them with confidence across varied lifecycle stages, from design and production to service and post-sales support. The marketplace also opens doors for partners in cloud infrastructure, mapping services, insurance and more to develop and distribute specialized solutions. Sibros is demoing the marketplace throughout CES 2026 and guiding attendees on how this new ecosystem could accelerate the transformation toward smarter, software-driven vehicles.

Greaves Electric Mobility integrates connected tech into Ampere electric bikes

Greaves Electric Mobility integrates connected tech into Ampere electric bikes. Greaves Electric Mobility, the Indian electric vehicle maker behind the popular Ampere two-wheelers, is taking a big step toward smarter, data-driven e-bike experiences by partnering with global software-defined vehicle platform provider Sibros. The collaboration will embed Sibros' Deep Connected Platform into Ampere electric bikes, bringing over-the-air software updates, real-time diagnostics and predictive insights to India's urban riders for the first time. This new connected tech layer is designed to transform how Ampere bikes operate and are supported after purchase. Through secure cloud connectivity, the platform will constantly log operational data, enable remote troubleshooting and deliver software improvements automatically - similar to how modern cars receive updates. Riders and service teams will gain visibility into key metrics such as battery health, usage patterns and system performance, helping boost reliability and confidence in everyday city journeys. For Greaves Electric Mobility, the move signals a strategic shift toward smarter and more future-ready electric two-wheelers in a fast-evolving EV market. Traditionally focused on mechanical quality and range, the company is now embracing digital connected services that are increasingly expected in contemporary electric transport. Real-time data and remote update capability not only give owners convenience and peace of mind but also help the brand optimise vehicle performance over time without physical service visits. Sibros' Deep Connected Platform supports full-vehicle over-the-air software delivery, secure diagnostics and analytics that can help prevent issues before they arise. Such capabilities have been central to the adoption of connected tech in passenger cars and commercial EVs, and now they are being tailored for two-wheelers - a first for many electric bike customers in India and similar markets. By integrating this technology into Ampere bikes, Greaves Electric Mobility is positioning its products not just as eco-friendly transport, but as smart mobility solutions that evolve through software, mirroring broader trends in the electric vehicle industry. As connected vehicle features become mainstream, this initiative could set a new benchmark for digital experiences in the electric two-wheeler category.
