Salary Range: 110000 to 120000 (Currency: CAD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)

Responsibilities:

• Creates 3D models, materials and textures to match concept art, art direction, and design.
• Works closely with the Leads to keep scale, form details, and art quality consistent across all asset work.
• Works with both the level design and narrative teams to produce AAA assets that fit within a fully flowing and playable level.
• Adapts work methods to the project pipeline and meets technical constraints (including housekeeping and naming conventions).
• Stays up to date on best practices in the video game industry, works to integrate them into the project.
• Works on tasks with clear direction, with and without supervision.
• Maintains communication with the rest of the workgroup.

Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge and proficiency with Maya.
• Experience with level art asset implementation.
• Experience and proven skillset with a PBR Material Pipeline.
• Knowledge of Substance Painter/Designer.
• Proven capability to work on multidisciplinary project teams and is able to handle changing priorities throughout a product life cycle.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a proven track record working with a team, preferably on a project that is level art focused.

Nice-To-Haves:

• Experience with a broad range of modern game engines
• Plays modern action-adventure games
• Demonstrated passion for entertainment products/media (i.e. comics, movies, novels, etc.)
• Knowledgeable of Quixel Bridge and Mixer.
