  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related STEM field required
  • 2-5 years’ experience in equipment specification or similar work or a combined equivalent amount of education and experience
  • Experience with spacecraft active thermal control systems and/or thermal desktop experience is a plus
  • Experience with and comfortable performing hand or spreadsheet calculations
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position
Responsibilities
  • Perform and document the thermal performance of the AxEMU, Axiom’s next generation space suit
  • Write analysis reports
  • Perform thermal desktop modeling
  • Complete thermal design of AxEMU
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned

  • Experience with spacecraft active thermal control systems and/or thermal desktop experience is a plus
