Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge and experience with common web front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Ajax.
- Experience using jQuery without relying on it exclusively.
- Experience crafting optimized CSS with LESS or SASS.
- Experience developing applications using open-source templating languages such as Handlebars, Dust, Mustache, or similar technologies.
- Experience developing applications in Node.js.
- Knowledge of developing applications in Java and JavaServer Pages (JSP).
- At least 5 years of software design and development experience.
- A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and web design constraints.
- Ability to support technical opinions about project direction with data.
- Ability to distill and prioritize others' requirements and understand how they fit within the overall product.
Responsibilities
- Develop front-end client-side applications and user interfaces.
- Recognize opportunities to optimize front-end code.
