Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or human services is preferred, or a combination of education and experience in a supervisory role in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment.
  • Must be a Licensed Administrator in good standing and/or meet all applicable federal and state license requirements.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a progressive leadership role in a senior living operation is required.
  • An understanding of and compliance with all federal, state, and local resident rights regulations is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budget management and financial planning, including the ability to develop, monitor, and optimize budgets aligned with organizational goals.
  • Knowledge of various computer systems and customer relationship management software, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire cross-functional teams in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a passion for serving seniors.
  • A high degree of accuracy, effective time management, and high integrity are required.
  • Capacity to work evenings and/or weekends and be on-call 24/7.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the on-site executive for all operations and act as the contact for staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies, and the public.
  • Supervise, direct, and motivate all department directors, supervisors, and staff while maintaining training and morale.
  • Maintain high resident satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality services.
  • Lead the development and implementation of community sales and operations strategies and tactics consistent with company objectives.
  • Understand community care regulations and support the Resident Care Program by meeting regularly with the clinical department head to address issues and concerns.
  • Manage the community budget and cash flow, maintain budget accountability, and anticipate and minimize negative budget variances and deficits.
  • Provide leadership for staff and residents while proactively solving problems and issues.
  • Act as the primary property contact for corporate staff and maintain positive relationships.
  • Maintain current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses in accordance with company, federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Review employee hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations with a focus on retaining quality personnel.
  • Maintain the building grounds and property by supervising preventative maintenance systems and programs and conducting frequent inspections.
