Requirements
  • To be currently based in either Northern or Southern California
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management or other related field
  • Previous experience working with or for developers, general contractors, or building material manufacturers
  • Previous experience successfully signing multi-million dollar deals
  • Demonstrated excellence across sales, prospecting & networking
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organization

  • Ability to excel working both independently & collaboratively
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
  • Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) cloud base CRM and/or project management tools such as HubSpot, Monday, PropertyBase, MS Project

Responsibilities
  • Develop & execute a regional sales strategy & plan in that alignment with the Company's goals
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Leverage your developer / builder networks and develop a pipeline of new relationships
  • Develop & nurture relationships to maximize long-term value
  • Build a pipeline of business to achieve sales objectives
  • Develop an understanding of customer fit with ideal target for Veev
  • Maintain accurate records and regularly update CRM with key activities and learnings about customers
  • Share key insights from the field and the market cross functionally and with leadership
  • Work closely with the real estate and the legal departments on preparation and execution of contracts and supporting documents
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to promote Veev
  • Prepare weekly & monthly sales updates for management
  • Travel as needed up to 25% of the time
Desired Qualifications
  • Builder/Developer Industry experience: 5-10+ years of sales experience in development / construction management field (modular construction is a plus), and/or 5-10+ years of selling construction services (modular construction is a plus), land or building products with a proven record of achieving goals and/or quotas
