Requirements
- The applicant must be a U.S. citizen to apply.

- Successful completion of a background check(s) in accordance with University policies; pre-employment drug screen is required.
- Undergraduate students pursuing degrees in engineering, welding and metal fabrication technology, materials science and engineering (MATSE), mechanical engineering, engineering science, aerospace engineering, or nuclear engineering are encouraged to apply.
- The successful candidates will work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours per week over the summer.
- This is a paid internship located at ARL’s Innovation Park location; relocation and housing are not provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist with material synthesis.
- Assist with device fabrication.
- Assist with process simulation for fabrication.
- Assist with development of advanced materials and material systems.
- Engage in a broad range of programs involving gear train technology, additive manufacturing, powder processing, cold spray manufacturing, robotics, testing, modeling and simulation, and characterization.

- Engineering, Welding and Metal Fabrication Technology programs.
