Requirements
  • Extensive experience assembling, repairing, servicing, testing and troubleshooting equipment (specifically, experience with electro-mechanical assemblies)
  • Ability to effectively manage time and focus on small details for extended periods of time
  • Ability to multitask and liaise with engineers
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Able to assemble prototypes from 3D models and 2D drawings a plus
  • Experience with SolidWorks or eDrawings a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
  • Working knowledge of the shop equipment and tools needed for the job
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which may include bending and picking up heavy (≤50 lb) items
Responsibilities
  • Repair and rework machines in accordance with safety compliance and quality assurance standards
  • Lead root cause analysis, actively diagnosing problems and working towards repair solutions
  • Interact daily with your manager and appropriate members of the product engineering team to receive tasks, communicate feedback and results
  • Provide technical support to the product engineering team, including explanation and resolution of issues with parts & assemblies
  • Assemble new products and prototypes, meeting production deadlines and ensuring quality through testing & documentation
