  • Ability to build strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.

  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate community members who work during the day.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable car.
  • Ability to travel for several training events throughout the year.
Responsibilities
  • Build relationships of trust with people of faith in the community through one-on-one conversations.
  • Invite community members to participate in collective action and develop their leadership.
  • Guide community members through research into community problems.
  • Organize direct-action assemblies involving large groups to demand action and hold decision-makers accountable.
  • Recruit new congregations.
  • Organize local trainings.
  • Coordinate an annual fundraising drive.
Desired Qualifications
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Background in communities of color, low-to-moderate-income communities, or immigrant communities.
