Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience managing a team quota (ideally $10m+)
  • Experience carrying a personal sales quota (ideally $1m+)
  • Proven experience in exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Experience in the Education customer segment (Higher Ed or K-12 preferred)
  • Government, Non-Profit or Justice Impacted sales experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of long-term customer retention
  • Consultative sales experience and managing complex sales cycles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce a must
  • Experience with Google Suite tools and software
  • Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality experience are a plus
Responsibilities
  • The RVP role leads a senior Sales team focused on net new business development where you will be expected to develop creative ways for your team to go to market with Transfr’s products and vision, and ultimately have your reps meet quota and close deals with education organizations in their territory/geographic region.
  • Responsible for planning, target setting, implementing, and managing sales programs, as well as a key leader handling hiring, coaching and inspiring your team to grow through each and every interaction.
  • You will report to the SVP, Education Sales and help guide your team as they create compelling value propositions that align with customer needs.
  • You will assist your team in prospecting, educating, qualifying and developing opportunities in new key accounts.
  • Ability to display a high sense of emotional intelligence when negotiating high stakes opportunities with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Work with the Marketing, Partnerships, and Economic Development teams internally to execute campaigns, strategies and build out local ecosystems so that your team is successful.
  • Develop deal timelines alongside your team to ensure we all meet deal milestones and deadlines, regularly updating activity in our CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Travel in territories with the team to provide coaching and training (up to 50%).
