World Omni (Southeast Toyota Finance) is an automotive captive finance company which originates and services vehicle retail & lease contracts for Toyota dealers in Alabama, the Carolinas, Florida, and Georgia. The main responsibilities of the Finance team include preparation of monthly financial reporting, monthly forecast, annual budget and long-range plan. The Finance team also works closely with other departments, both within and outside of Southeast Toyota Finance to provide financial reporting variance analyses to help drive business results.
The SETF Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst to provide reporting of financial results and analysis supporting SETF and other Business Units. Individual will be responsible for a broad base of analysis, reporting and special project duties, including the creation of multiple monthly financial analysis packages for SETF including key performance metrics, data comparatives and graphs.
This position will also support and assist in the preparation of the monthly forecast and annual budget as well as related schedules and presentations, in addition to assisting with the creation of numerous executive-level presentations (recurring and ad-hoc).
Preparation of financial and operational analyses for internal and external management
Summarization and analysis of large amounts of financial data
Preparation of monthly financial reports
Preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budget, including collaboration with various departments to improve accuracy of these forecasts
Working as part of a team to prepare presentations for SETF Management, JMFE Senior Management Team, Trustees, and Treasury
Preparation of ad hoc reports upon request
Researching of all financial reporting variances, and work with other departments to provide explanations for senior management
Contributing to the development of reporting tools using platforms such as PowerBI
Supporting the maintenance of databases such as NetSuite and Oracle EPM
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field of study required; MBA or CPA preferred.
1-2 years of financial analysis/reporting
Self starter with the ability to work under strict deadlines
Ability to work with changing priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail
Experience in compiling and reviewing financial statements and forecasts and ability to research variances and changing assumptions
Experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required as well as experience with databases such as Oracle EPM (preferred) or accounting systems such as NetSuite (preferred).
