Requirements
  • A genuine love for working with children.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A willingness to work as part of a team and pursue leadership opportunities.
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a national police check and a state working-with-children check.
  • Must have valid Australian work rights.
  • Must hold or be in the process of completing a relevant qualification in children’s services in accordance with Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority guidelines.
Responsibilities
  • Create exciting, engaging, and memorable experiences for primary school children in an outside-school-hours-care program.
  • Participate in activities such as building rockets, playing sports, creating art, and helping children make friends.
  • Work morning and afternoon shifts in the Rise then Shine and Stay and Play programs.
  • Work additional hours during school holidays when available.
