  • Demonstrated success as a product manager for a complex, data-intensive offering with enterprise customers.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to explain complex topics and provide audience-appropriate summarizations.
  • Solid understanding of modern product management principles and product development processes.
  • Solid understanding of database fundamentals (types, uses, and features of databases).
  • Experience with modern database technologies, such as NewSQL and NoSQL, and building data platforms.
  • Ability to think out of the box to bring innovative solutions involving AI and newer technologies into the product landscape.
Responsibilities
  • Working cross-functionally within EDB, across engineering, marketing, sales, and other functions to take ideas through the entire lifecycle, from ideation to production.
  • Working with customers to understand and incorporate their feedback into our product vision while also being an effective evangelist for EDB and our offerings.
  • Collaborating with product and engineering peers to deliver your product’s roadmap.
  • Making sure our engineering team is always fed with a prioritized backlog of features with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Supporting our Sales team by collaborating with product marketing and enablement to ensure the field is prepared to support new releases.
  • Bringing an inquisitive, innovative, and collegiate attitude to problem-solving.
  • Leading initiatives that leverage modern database technologies, including NewSQL and NoSQL, to build robust and scalable data platforms.
  • Driving the integration of AI and emerging technologies into our product offerings to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance product capabilities.
