Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, economics or Finance or equivalent work experience
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in a financial sales position
  • FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 and state life and health insurance licenses
  • Satisfactory background check and clean record with securities regulations bodies
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written and telephone communication skills
  • Ability to calculate figures and percentages. Ability to collect and analyze data
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, ability to work under pressure, and the ability to handle sensitive information
Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining a clientele of investment clients, through the approved product list of our broker dealer, offering non-deposit investment accounts to Credit Union membership
  • Helping identify opportunities to help members achieve various financial goals
  • Developing a member experience that corresponds to maintaining a book of business
  • Working with front line (branch and Contact Center) and other lines of business to increase member penetration for investments
  • Conducting financial education seminars to grow clientele
  • Keeping up to date in market knowledge, financial planning, technology, and wealth management tools to best serve membership
  • Achieving and surpassing annual revenue goal
  • Facilitating advisory business to develop constant level of recurring income
  • Working with branch partners to help them achieve their annual goal
  • Preparing and maintaining proper documentation, reporting and recording within the company CRM system in accordance with established procedures and compliance needs
  • Responding in a timely manner to all questions of suitability from Broker Dealer and OSJ
  • Keeping up to date with all required continuing education from Regulatory, Broker Dealer and Credit Union
  • Representing WSECU Investment Management and WSECU by presenting a positive and professional image
  • Contributing new ideas and strategies to improve production and work processes
  • Assisting in championing the investment department enterprise wide
