Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Initiates the design, development, execution and implementation of scientific research projects to fuel Intel’s growth in the areas of computing, communication, technology and manufacturing and new business opportunity.
- Investigates the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products typically 7+ years prior to landing on a product roadmap.
- Plans and executes laboratory research. Maintains substantial knowledge of state of the art principles and theories, and contributes to scientific literature and conferences.
- May participate in development of intellectual property.
- May coordinate interdepartmental activities and research efforts.
- Performing research in Post-Quantum Cryptography, proposing scalable solutions, and building SW prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of technical solutions.

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your work experience, graduate school, post-doc research and/or relevant internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering with research background in Post-Quantum Cryptography.
1+ years of experience in below areas:
- One or more publications on cryptography in a peer-reviewed conferences and journals.
- Post Quantum Digital Signature and Key Exchange algorithms, Lattice-Based Cryptography Development of software prototypes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other post-quantum cryptography families e.g., Hash-based, lattice-based, and code-based, is a plus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in
US, Colorado and New York:$119,130.00-$178,690.00
Salaryrangedependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
