  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Applied Physics
  • Proficient in GSuite (Google docs, sheets, etc)
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or optical components
  • Course work on electronics circuit designs, computer programming and digital systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Interest in agriculture, agtech, or applications of technology to tangible, real-world problems
Responsibilities
  • We are open to the internship being part time during the academic year or full-time over the summer
  • Projects may involve exploration of products and/or process problems, definition and selection of new concepts and approaches, origination or modification of material, component and process specifications and requirements
  • Apply electrical engineering principles in the design and analysis of components, sub system and system
  • Use electronic test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc
  • Diagnose and investigate the root-cause of part, assembly or design failures
  • Communicate and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to provide updates and provide task deliverables
  • Support prototype and production pilot builds and resolve technical and quality issues
  • Work closely with senior engineers to develop and test new design and support analysis tasks
  • Work on substantive projects that have the potential to impact the future business of the company
  • Present the projects they have been involved with and lessons learned at the end of the internship
